I’m looking back now, thinking of my daughter who passed on to the next life. Putting pieces together, realizing now that she worried about her sickness. What with the books she read about sick young girls, with mothers caring for them, now I know, she constantly thought about her illness. Looking at these books today, I understand why she read so many of them.
But, despite the worry, she lived bravely loving everyone she encountered, God’s love in her manifested in her relationships-with friends, friends’ parents, our relatives, family and others. Her love was palpable. No excuses, she showed kindness to everyone. The two of us, having been so close, I know how her mind and heart work, I consider her kindness as beyond human understanding.
She dedicated her life in forwarding God’s kingdom. Not ashamed of the gospel, she shared incessantly. She understood even those who offended her, she got saddened I know, yet, she prayed for them and she understood them.
She worshipped God with all her soul. She loved without conditions. How she did so is beyond my comprehension, sharing the love of Jesus to everyone she encountered. The purity. The unconditionslity of giving herself for the cause of Jesus’ love despite her condition, I cannot understand.
She seemed to be in a hurry to accomplish the work God wanted her to do. Maybe because, she knew her life might end anytime? She worked hard to be excellent in just everything she did, never leaving anything undone. What were left undone were those that she left behind when her young, earthly life ended. She was twenty-three.
She lived life to the fullest, pleasing God ‘til the end.
