Beauty

Drop Of Water, Drip, Flower, Plant, Close Up, Blossom

Beauty surrounds us.

No matter how simple, no matter how grand, no matter how small, no matter how huge, no matter how others see it, no matter how I see it, we are placed in the middle of royal beauty.

If it has purpose, if it adds meaning to a human life, if it moves the heart, if it makes us want to be better and to do more for others, if it stirs love and brings joy, if it gives peace, if it makes us become more compassionate, if it adds color and adds life, then it is beautiful. There’s beauty on the outright, mostly physical and feast for the eyes. There is beauty that only the heart can see, may be broken and unattractive on the outside, but whole and full on the inside. There is beauty that can only be heard if we quiet ourselves and shut out the noise, it could be music playing in our memory, a prayer or words spoken that lift our spirit. The kind of beauty that only a touch can define, like the fine sand on our palm that flows between our fingers or the cool water that refreshes the skin or that warm bath that soothes tired flesh is beauty that that gives peace to an over-driven mind. The smell of fresh flowers or that sweet perfume, the taste of ambrosial dish, oh behold how life seems perfect at the moment of experience. Then the gift of sight makes us feast on the hues of nature or of the pigments of man-made interpretations of the natural creation.

Indeed, no beauty is an accident. If we set up ourselves and connect with our souls, every moment is a moment of awe as we marvel as an audience to the loveliness of the home we call earth and the dome we call sky.

To your fullness,

Joji
