Life

Beneath

Amazing is God’s creation. Anywhere we set our eyes on we see fascinating masterpieces. Up above the skies are the sublime heavenly bodies- the galaxies of stars, the constellations, the sun and the moon. On the ground are found such magnificence as bodies of water- the oceans, rivers and seas, streams, waterfalls and lakes. We see gorgeous mountain ranges, rolling hills and plains, we see plants of varied species, tall plants like the bamboo and huge imposing trees like the giant sequoia. God adorns our grounds with myriad colors of flowers, each self-contained with exquisiteness we just can’t help but pick them and vase them to doll up our rooms. And, the animals that roam the land, the kingdom of sea creatures and the flock of birds that fly up the sky, are a scene to behold. Our eyes can only feast on such unending charm.

Then we wear gorgeous jewelry, carrying it around with so much taste and grace. Where did the stones come from? Beneath the surface we walk on, where dirt accumulate, are treasures much hidden from the daily course of life. Stashed underneath the ground we walk on are the gems that truly command so much worth, not many realizes where these gems are really resting.

As we celebrate what we see on our day-to-day going about, let us remember the least considered glory below us. the stones and minerals. Many of us are awed by the finished product, but let us be more awed by the rough treasures that are yet to  be cleaned and processed into extraordinary jewel fit for royalty.

Wherever we turn, God speaks His love through His creations. And, as we do our musings about God’s wondrous masterpieces, let us exult as we remember that we are the most valuable creation of God. In the midst of all the masterpieces, stands the centerpiece, us.

Glory to God!

To your bounty,

Joji
