It’s a Monday, the first day of the work week. For independent contractors like me, who have freedom of time, creating a structure for work efficiency is paramount.
Tools abound. Technology is everywhere to make everything and everyone accessible. There is no excuse anymore why we can’t get things done.
Was talking to a friend recently. Our conversation revolved around work and creating opportunities for one’s self. We agreed that everything we need is all out there. In fact, even our destination is right there waiting for us to reach it. But why can’t many of us reach it? Why can’t many of us start? At most, why can’t many get things done? 
My friend and I agreed, it all boils down to willingness. Our greatest obstacle is in fact ourselves. Our unwillingness.
Even if everything is laid down for us, if we are not willing to take the step, nothing will happen.
We are reminded- “Don’t ask God to guide your steps if you are not willing to move your feet.”
So there. Our God provides everything, in fact our cup overflows.
Sadly, nothing will materialize if we just sit around watching and waiting. We need to push ourselves and use our God-given talents and gifts to produce the results we dream of.
God plants the desires of our hearts. It’s wise to seek God’s help to provide us wisdom and clarity on which path to choose to reach the destination already set for us.
Though he provides the good ways, we need to move toward the direction he is destining for us. That is precisely why we are born with talents which we shouldn’t bury. Otherwise we sin because we waste the gifts.
Creating a structure will stabilize our direction and get us organized.
